How did Game On Race Events get started?

Game On Race Events owners, Brian Huether and Willie Savoie, have always had a passion for events. They work tirelessly to ensure each and every event is huge success for everyone involved (client, sponsors, participants, vendors, volunteers, and spectators) . They understand working long hours, as well as on weekends and holidays, is all part of the job.

Over the years, they've helped plan and/or led the coordination of very large-scale events both in the corporate and non-profit sectors. After researching the industry and noticing a gaping need, Brian and Willie decided to team up with local non-profits to produce events that raise awareness and much needed funds.

Game On Race Events specializes in the planning of corporate, non-profit and social events.  Let our highly experienced staff create your 5k Walk/Run, Black Tie Gala, Golf Tournament, Auction, or any other charity fundraising event. If you can dream it, we can do it!

We offer various aspects of event planning services which includes logistics, budgeting, venue selection, timeline preparation, working with vendors, contract negotiations, day-of coordination (set-up and tear-down) as well as development of marketing, social media/public relations plans, fundraising consultation and much more.

How early should you start planning an event?

Depending on the event, most will start planning at least 12 months in advance. Large-scale events that involve hundreds or thousands of individuals that span over multiple days, can take 18+ months to plan. Our team has planned and hosted smaller events that have taken only one month to coordinate. The best advice would be to start as early as possible, but when  you work with the right event production company, we will find a way to make it work within your timeline. Game On!

We work with many incredible professionals throughout the industry, including city/county special events departments, park managers, caterers, DJs and musicians, décor rental companies, lighting, staging, sanitation and more. After planning events for over 25 years, our team has built strong relationships throughout the state. We work with trusted professionals that will help insure a successful event.

How far will you travel for an event?

Our team is willing to travel and has helped to host events throughout the United States and beyond.

What is your favorite aspect of event planning?

Seeing the event go from concept to reality. It takes a lot of hard work to make this happen, but it is all worthwhile when the plan comes together.
